- Europe’s new data privacy law goes into effect later this month, and it could cost major tech companies like Google and Amazon billions of dollars - if they are found to violate it (NiemanLab)
- OpenNews, together with a slew of contributors, released a very in-depth Field Guide to Security Training in the Newsroom (OpenNews)
- The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas published an ebook chronicling innovative journalism experiments in Latin America, available in English, Spanish and Portuguese (Knight Center)
